Filter Replacement
In general, filters are installed in order to clean drinking and potable-water stations. A filter helps you to protect all water pipes as well as all connected water-carrying system parts against corrosive damage caused by particles such as shavings, rust, sand, etc.
A filter works in the following manner:
Water enters the filter through the raw water inlet and flows through the element and is transported outward toward the pure water outlet. During this
process, all the foreign particles mentioned above deposit on the inside of the filter. For this reason filters and their elements must be cleaned through backwashing.
Apart from normal filters, there are also filters available that can be backwashed and others in which the filter element should be replaced on an annual basis.
If regular filter servicing is not performed, dirt and germs form in the drinking water.
